Just a Quick Email Today 💌

Hello Reader,

Historically, my email the Friday after U.S. Thanksgiving has my absolute worst open rate of the entire year. So, I'm going to keep this week's short and get back to meaty stuff next week.

This week, I thought it would be fun to highlight some things I think are pretty freaking cool that folks I know or admire are offering. A bit of community amplification so to speak.

But first, don't forget that I have a fun little flash sale on strategy sessions happening. You can read the email announcement here and book yours here. (If you can't checkout, that's because the spots are limited and all have been snagged.)

With that said, here are some cool things from other folks that I'd love to highlight:

♦️I meant to highlight this when it was in its launch and plain forgot, but my friend Chantelle recently launched a very cool card deck for business owners. Chantelle is the queen of card decks, and this is such a great product at an affordable price. I think this would be a great one for client gifting if you're a B2B service provider. Check it out here.

My friend Kerstin is the go-to on all things calm business and everyone I recommend her to is blown away by her calm and supportive vibe and how information packed her materials are. She's having a fabulous sale on all of her courses and digital products using the code BF2025.

📆 I buy this enormous wall calendar from NeuYear every year and it's truly one of my favorite things I spend money on. It's huge, the paper is high quality, it lasts all year long and is great for visually planning out your year. I hang mine on wooden hangers. Seriously, it's the best. And it's on sale right now.

🎨 Another friend who consistently creates very high quality products, Christy Price is having a sale on her digital products using the code BF25 (I am an affiliate with this one, but I usually forget that when I recommend her stuff!, it's that good!). In particular, for web designers, I recommend checking out the Web Designers Playbook. This is the kind of resource anyone creating sites for clients needs!

Here are some actually useful apps/software, too:

🎧 One business app sale I think is a great deal is over at Transistor. Transistor is a podcast host, but I use them for audio versions of my courses. When you do the math, their pricing is far better than the "big name" in private podcasting and their customer service is lightyears ahead as well (I wrote an article about this awhile back). Get your discount here (I am an affiliate, but I use and recommend them regardless).

🫆 I don't know if this is an app technically, but Skillshare has a really good discount right now. I subscribe and while there are some solid business courses on the platform, I think the really good stuff is the creativity stuff. Some of my favorite watercolor artists, for example, have classes on there and it's great to try new skills. Trying new things is good for the brain and the heart!

💸 This is a boring recommendation, but for years I struggled to find any decent personal budgeting/cashflow app. I despise YNAB with a fiery passion, and others I tried were nearly as miserable to use. Last year, during a Black Friday sale I tried Monarch and found it shockingly pleasant to use. I now joyfully pay full price for it, and like to gripe that no business finance software comes near the quality of Monarch for financial visualizations and ease of use. This link gives you 50% off.

As always, do your due diligence and make sure anything you snag is right for you right now. If now isn't the right time, it's not and that's fine. And, remember, supporting small businesses has a massive impact, so please shop small when you can!

Warmly,

Sarah
